About
EACH

The story behind the Ethical Assisted Conception Hub, brought to you

by White Ribbon Alliance UK

Purpose

We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to equitable and ethical reproductive healthcare. The purpose of EACH is to provide unbiased, reliable, and comprehensive information to people navigating assisted fertility services and building families.

Mission

Our mission is to support individuals in making informed decisions by offering fact-based guidance, legal insights, practical tools, and access to support networks. We are committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ families and providing a socio-cultural analysis of ethical considerations. Through real case studies, we convey the emotional impact of assisted fertility services, aiming to create a supportive community for all involved.

Journey

EACH began as a resource aimed primarily at hopeful parents considering surrogacy to build a family. However, we quickly identified a gap in the information currently available to parents, about the complex emotional and ethical considerations of assisted conception. As our research and knowledge grew, so too did our conviction that a resource that addresses the needs and rights of all people involved in donor conception and surrogacy - including donors and surrogates themselves, and donor conceived people - was sorely needed. And so, the Ethical Assisted Conception Hub was born.

Funding

EACH is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, which aims to support community-led projects that foster health and well-being. Read more about the Fund here
